You may have seen the news from the National Association of REALTORS® yesterday – Lone Wolf Technologies acquired Ziplogix.

This further consolidates the real estate form software and signature platform space as Lone Wolf had previously purchased Instanet and its Transaction Desk platform.

So what does this mean to you as a user of Ziplogix? Nothing in the near term. The National Association of REALTORS® will continue to provide Ziplogix as a no additional cost member benefit through its current 2020 obligation.

Over the next year and a half, we are sure there will be a lot of discussion as to whether to continue this member benefit, and at what cost. The Massachusetts Association of REALTORS® will continue to supplement the NAR Ziplogix offering by providing its mobile platform and electronic signature offering to all Massachusetts REALTORS® at no additional cost – providing members of the Cape Cod & Islands Association of REALTORS® with full access to the Ziplogix platform through your REALTOR® membership.

The future is in real estate transaction form software. Clients are demanding that their REALTOR® use these software systems and be able to sign documents electronically. That consumer demand is not changing and is only going to intensify. As part of our commitment, if you still need to get up to speed on electronic forms and want to better use Ziplogix, contact our MLS Director Marcia Stirling to set up a training at your office today, or attend our Introduction to zipForms Plus and Digital Ink training at the CCIAOR Member Service Center in West Yarmouth from 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm on Tuesday, May 7th.
